I have tried numerous times and cannot get step 5 and 6 of the installation to work. Here is what I have done.</p> <p>I already have a word press blog we have been using previously now since december, it is our first domain (example name) <a href="http://www.firstdomain.com" rel="nofollow">http://www.firstdomain.com</a> – so step 1 was already done as it has been up and running for a few months.</p> <p>I then followed your step 2 and 3 exactly.</p> <p>Step 4, do you mean to just load the home page <a href="http://www.firstdomain.com" rel="nofollow">http://www.firstdomain.com</a> into a browser? I did that as well, just brought up the home page in IE and Firefox. If you mean something else by loading, please let me know. Feel I may be missing something here with the word "loading". As I simply just loaded the <a href="http://www.firstdomain.com" rel="nofollow">http://www.firstdomain.com</a> in a browser window, as I do everyday.</p> <p>Step 5,<br /> A)<br /> using Plesk, I pointed my completely separate domain name i.e. <a href="http://www.otherdomain.com" rel="nofollow">http://www.otherdomain.com</a> to forward directly to the <a href="http://www.firstdomain.com" rel="nofollow">http://www.firstdomain.com</a> site. That just physically forwarded it to my first domain.<br /> B)<br /> I then tried Step 5 again, and this time I pointed <a href="http://www.otherdomain.com" rel="nofollow">http://www.otherdomain.com</a> to <a href="http://www.firstdomain.com/wp-content/wp-hive/" rel="nofollow">http://www.firstdomain.com/wp-content/wp-hive/</a> - this was a guess. This also didn’t allow for Step 6 to work.<br /> Step 6, on option A above, I tried running the installation script on the following:<br /> <a href="http://www.otherdomain.com/wp-admin/install.php" rel="nofollow">http://www.otherdomain.com/wp-admin/install.php</a><br /> It brought up webpage cannot be found.</p> <p>I’m hoping you see something obvious above that I’m not understanding.
