If all 4 sites are using the same theme, then you should just be able to select that theme in Admin for each site.</p> <p>From your description, WP Hive should work for you. The senior pastor needs a blog, the youth pastor needs a blog too and so does the music minister, secretary, etc. - all wrapped up via the main "Mama" site.</p> <p>Ideally, I'd like to have <a href="http://www.domain.com" rel="nofollow">http://www.domain.com</a>; then domain.com/senior pastor....domain.com/youth pastor....domain.com/music pastor, and so forth. I sought out WP hive so I could build something so that each minister could log in and blog from his or her own area, and I wanted everyone's pages, templates and layouts to be consistent across the board.</p> <p>I loaded up Hive and have been working with it, but I found that if I wanted 4 blogs I'd have to load in 4 new WP installs with 4 new admins and all that. I thought that you should only need to (for example) put your main theme into your "Mama site" and all the child sections inherited that same theme and layout from "Mama" - whereas now I have to copy &amp; upload the same theme 4 times - one for each 'child' blog to get it to work. That kinda defeats the purpose? I think I'm totally doing this 110% wrong. Any advice? Just load them all into the same /themes directory and they will all be available to each blog. However, if you make any changes the to php templates in one theme, the changes will also be reflected in the other themes.
