This is set in wp-admin > settings > general. WP is installed in the root directory, and I am able to install and activate the plugin. The admin interface works fine as long as I don't leave it, but if I attempt to log in after leaving the dashboard, I receive the Unknown Host error. This particular WP install shares a single database with a number of other installs, but the table prefixes are all unique. I am unable to add additional installs through Hive, as I receive the following error in Firefox: "The page isn't redirecting properly Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete. * This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies." Cookies are fully enabled, my wp-content folder is CHMOD 777, I've updated and refreshed my .htaccess file multiple times and I'm at a loss. I had to reinstall Wordpress, but renamed the subdirectory wordpress was in (eg /wordpress2). I thought that would give me a fresh start. Bad idea. (Luckily I had backed up the original database, so was able to reload it, change the wordpress directory back to the original name and delete the Wp-hive folder. That restored my site back to its pre-hive state, and my pulse to normal levels. But now when I try to reinstall Hive to try again, things break again - there's a script somewhere looking for wordpress in the non-existent /wordpress2 directory. Sorry - don't have a solution yet - just beware of this happening when you (hopefully) restore your site and try again! I just installed the WP Hive program on my new Wordpress blog and I went in and updated the subdir from / to /blog (where the WP was installed) and blew up my WP. I cannot. I am assuming I'll need to edit my database on the server side but I'm not sure where to look / what to edit (I"m a novice at this). I would be grateful for any assistance you could render. Make sure you are pointing to a directory on the server, not to a domain name. 2. Check the <code>wphive_hosts</code> table in the database. There should be one entry for each site, referencing unique prefixes for the tables. I am running WP on my hosting account on Hostmonter.com. I assigned one domain to my account as a Addon domain and point it to primary domain (domain with installed WP). When I try to run install on the addon domain (or load the domain itself - <a href="http://www.domain.com" rel="nofollow">http://www.domain.com</a>), it says "Unknown host". Can you help me?
