Sorry about the lack of instructions. Here they are:

Just overwrite the contents of /wp-content/plugins/wp-hive/ with the contents in the zip file.

After the upgrade, you should re-save your permalinks on your root site (wp-admin -> settings -> permalinks) and then set the permissions on .htaccess to read-only (CHMOD 555), so that it doesn't get re-written by any other site in the hive.

I've downloaded the RC to upgrade my WP Hive, but I don't see any instructions for upgrading. Are there any files I should keep when doing the install or do I just deactivate and replace files for the plugin?

It is stable provided that WordPress is installed and accessed from the root (eg: domain.com/ or sub.domain.com/) for all sites in the hive.

There are reports of problems when WordPress is installed in a subdirectory (eg: domain.com/blog/) or when it is installed in it's own directory. An update is in the works to address this issue.

I'm working on improving the forum. Subscribing via email is on the top of the list.

I see on my dashboard that the new release is officially out. What I'd like to know... if I let the automatic plugin upgrade do its thing, will ALL of my sites be OK? Considering that my install of WP-Hive is currently stable, I'm really concerned that my sites will suddenly "break".

Edit: P.S - is there any way I can subscribe to threads here by email?

Gerard,

There is a changelog located at the bottom of the development page.

Thanks for releasing a new version!

Unless I couldn't find it, I don't see a Changelog of any sort. What are the changes in version 0.4.2?

If there is no Changelog aleady, may I suggest a page on this site documenting bug fixes, new features, etc. when a new version is released?
