Yes, you can delete the third one if it is unneeded. Also, to permanently remove it, drop all the tables in the database that start with that unique prefix.

Through trial and error and reinstall I figured it out. I am happy to report that ithacatype.com/main and ithacatype.com/news exist. I also see a third site name, plain old ithacatype.com with the table prefix wp_. I'm not managing three blogs, just the two: main & news. Can I delete that third one safely? I am wary to do so as the plugin is working great finally.
Also, quick question. One can be logged into a single admin panel at a time, correct?

Thanks for the query. These are about as clear a set of instructions I have found to implement this plugin. I am guessing the new version is what I should wait for as the current version available through the plugin dashboard keeps breaking my login. True? Is this the case? Please advise.

Thanks. Terry

1. Go to
http://www.example.com/test1/wp-admin/

2. Yes, this is the proper way.

But, the caveat is that the WP-Admin redirects are not working 'correctly' for subdirectories in this version. You may be incorrectly logged out / logged in / redirected..

The new version coming out soon resolves this issue.

Hello,
WP Hive seems to be just what I'm looking for, but please help me understand something. My website will have the main home page http://www.example.com, and the main blog will be installed at root level. The rest of the many blogs will be simply installed in subdirectories, such as example.com/blog1, example.com/blog2, example.com/blog3. Depending on how well this website concept goes, this might go up to example.com/blog500, or maybe more!

I don't want to set up a subdomain with GoDaddy for each of these subdiroctories. It is enough that I can link to them as http://www.example.com/blog1/ (and not as blog1.example.com).

I have installed WP, than installed WP Hive, then went to WP Hive > Add New. On that page I did it this way:

Domain name: example.com
Sub Directory: /test1

Prefix: test1_

Then it asks me to install it, and I do so. Then I log into the new site.

I've made 4 test blogs this way.

Question 1: How do I get to the Dashboard of each created blog?

Question 2: Is it perfectly OK to make extra blogs in this way?

Thanks!
