I'm not sure that having multiple IP addresses served by the same server will actually increase your performance.</p> <p>Nonetheless, as long as all the sites are pointing to the same web server directory, and share the same database, it will work. </p> <p>WP Hive does not care what the IP address is. There are currently 8 blogs on my hive.</p> <p>I'm seriously considering upgrading to a reseller account and giving each site its own unique IP for performance reasons.</p> <p>Will my hive be able to make that transition will me? Or will I be able to recreate my hive? </p> <p>It took me some time to figure out how to get the hives set up. I used SSH to point my sites to the master hive site via terminal. </p> <p>I'm not exactly sure how I'd point them if they're not on a shared hosting account but rather have their own individual IP. I am assuming I could do this, though... </p> <p>So can I migrate my hive from a shared hosting to dedicated IP's... and any tips if so? </p>
