Installing Domain

    I'm really confused about how to install the site. I think the problem is in the subdirectory configuration: /home/XXX/domains/treywoods.com/ This is where the index.php file is located and when I click on install; nothing really appears to happen. I go to the treywoods site and get a 404 error. I have tried multiple subdirectory addresses and nothing seems to work.

    You need the domains to be pointed to the directory where index.php is located.

    One tip I can give you is to get the first site installed correctly and working without using WP Hive. Then add WP Hive and if you're using new subdomains or domains, point them to exactly the same location as the first site.

    I'm trying to install my first new domain using my wp hive main domain. I get the following when I click install for the new site:

    Index of /

    * cgi-bin/
    * images/
    * postinfo.html

    Apache/2.2.11 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.11 OpenSSL/0.9.8e-fips-rhel5 mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 Server at newdomain.org Port 80

    What am I not doing correctly? I suspect it has something to do with the DNS pointing. How exactly do you do this?
