When I was on shared hosting of Godaddy, I had all my blogs in a hive. Now, I've got an reseller hostgator account. I'm trying to separate my Blogs from their hives and have each hosted on its own wordpress install.

    Any tips on this?

I have downloaded my wordpress database via phpmyadmin. Should I deactivate my hive before copying the database?

When I import the databases into each new wordpress database what do I need to do as far as wp-hive is concerned?

    The simple answer:

    - Export the set of tables for the particular site based on the unique prefix for the site you want to separate. Then import them into a new database.
    - Copy the entire WordPress (WP Hive) directory to a new location.
    - Update wp-config.php to point to the new database.
    - Re-Point the website to point to the new file location of index.php.

You may also want to clean up the new directories to remove: unused plugins, themes, or uploads.

    All Done!
