    hi!

just before i go ahead and adapt to wp-hive, i am thinking of the future =P

say i installed 10 blogs on one wp-hive and i want to sell only one of them a year later. how does one go about seperating the blog from the hive and keeping the blog's content and theme?

    thanks!

    regards

    Hi Harry,

    How is life in Hogwarts?

Each blog I have on the hive has its own theme. You just extract the data from the database and import it into its own database when you want to sell.

Needs a basic understanding of phpmyadmin but there are any number of tutorials out there that will explain how to do it.

"Each blog I have on the hive has its own theme." >> this is possible?

hum, i have done the exporting and importing of databases with phpmy admin, that doesn't sound too bad =D

Yes very much so. Just upload the theme as you would do normally and activate it for each hive.

    wait wait wait...

you mean each hive can have it's own theme (like all blogs on the same hive install having its own theme)

or multiple blogs can have multiple different themes even though they are on the same hive installation?

Yes, each site's admin will list all the themes that are available (showing everything that is in /wp-content/themes/).

You could share a single theme for all the sites, or you could apply a unique theme to each individual site. Your choice!
