I use Network Solutions for my hosting and they automatically dump all files into a subdirectory of the root called /htdocs. I added my blog to my website - didn't want it to replace existing content so WP and all its stuff went into /htdocs/woodshed. If I purchase the Pro version of Hive will it be compatible with this set-up? I intend to add a second blog which will also have to be a subdirectory ie: /htdocs/blog2.

It all depends on the public facing URL.
If you can access your site using this: http://domain.com, then it will work.
Most hosts would allow you to point http://woodshed.domain.com to a local folder /htdocs/woodshed/, and this also works just fine in any version of WP Hive.
However, if you plan to access your site using http://domain.com/woodshed/, then it will not work with either the regular or PRO version.
